Wade Noonan lives in Williamstown with his wife Julie and their two young sons William and Henry.
Wade is the fourth generation of his family to live in the inner western suburbs, both Wade’s parents and grandparents were born locally.
Caring passionately about the community, Wade is currently working to assist young people reach their potential through his voluntary chairing of the YMCA’s Bridge Project. This important project aims to rehabilitate young people and assist them in gaining sustainable employment. He has also been a long term volunteer supporter of Berry Street Victoria.
As a former national union leader, Wade has been at the forefront of the battle to stand up for working families against John Howard’s extreme WorkChoices laws.
Wade has experience in organisational management and extensive experience in representing working people. And has successfully completed graduate study.
Outside work, community and family activities, Wade enjoys running and has completed the last three Melbourne marathons.
Wade is proud to have been elected as the Victorian Parliament's representative in Williamstown and aims to continue the type of local representation provided by former Williamstown MP, Steve Bracks.
