Shaun Leane is married with two teenage daughters.
A former electrician Shaun has been active in the labour movement all of his working life.
When Shaun was young, his father a bricklayer who fought in New Guinea in WWII, passed away leaving his mother, a nurse, to work night shift to raise their family of eight children.
Whilst working as a tradesman Shaun has been through periods of unemployment due to the nature of the industry. He understands the challenges of supporting a family in that situation and is now working hard to stand up for working families.
He has been a board member of Victec, an apprentice group training company, for over seven years.
As well as his electrical qualification Shaun has achieved a Diploma in Community Services.
Shaun has a keen interest in football and cricket and plays for East Ringwood Veterans Football Club.
