Young Labor
Victorian Young Labor is the voice of the youth of the Australian Labor Party.
Victorian Young Labor is an official body within the Australian Labor Party that represents members of the Australian Labor Party aged between 14 and 26 years old who reside in Victoria.
Victorian Young Labor is a vibrant, dynamic meeting place for young people to support Labor and share ideas.
Whatever your passion may be – social justice, the labour movement, democracy or the fair go – Victorian Young Labor is for you.
At every election, we hit the streets campaigning to help elect Labor governments at state and federal level.
Victorian Young Labor provides many opportunities for young people to learn new skills and share new experiences.
Victorian Young Labor is committed to social justice, with its members regularly volunteering their time to contribute to the community.
Victorian Young Labor holds many events for young people, from politics in the pub nights to social events.
Members of Victorian Young Labor can elect delegates to represent their local areas. These delegates attend Young Labor conferences in Victoria and national Young Labor conferences in Canberra. At these conferences, members debate public policy and elect Young Labor’s leaders.
Victorian Young Labor is also active at universities and TAFEs.
