About Progressive Business
Progressive Business was established in April 1999 prior to the election of the Bracks Labor Government. Its primary focus is to build relationships between the Australian Labor Party, the Victorian ALP State Government, Federal Labor and the business community.
Membership is open to individuals and organisations seeking to share progressive ideas and policies.
Background
In April 1999, Steve Bracks formally recognised the establishment of Progressive Business, whose primary objective is to build relationships between the business community and the Australian Labor Party. Since then, Progressive Business has made its presence felt in Victoria’s business community and has provided individuals and businesses with high-quality opportunities to engage with the State ALP Government – through incisive, timely forums, briefings and other exclusive events.
*Any financial surplus generated by Progressive Business activities will be directed to the Australian Labor Party.
