About Rob Hulls

Rob Hulls is a lawyer and has undertaken Aboriginal Legal Aid work.

In 1990, Rob was elected to the Australian Federal Parliament until 1993.

He was elected to the Victorian State Parliament in 1996.

Rob has been Minister for Manufacturing, Industry as well as Minister for WorkCover and Minister for Racing.

Rob is currently the Deputy Premier as well as Attorney General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Minister for Racing. Mr Hulls is passionate about social justice and progressive law reform. He is committed to the Brumby Government's vision of a prosperous and socially cohesive Victoria.

He is married to Carolyn Burnside with whom he has two sons; he has a daughter from a previous marriage.

His interests are football (especially the Geelong Football Club), horse racing and jogging.

About Niddrie

Location: Niddrie District is a metropolitan electorate located approximately eight kilometres north-west of Melbourne.
Area: 34 square kilometres.
Region: Western Metropolitan Region
Suburbs: Airport West, Avondale Heights, Essendon West, Kealba, Keilor East, Keilor Park and Niddrie. Parts of the suburbs of Essendon, Keilor and Tullamarine.

Features: Niddrie District contains residential and industrial areas, a number of recreational reserves, including Brimbank Park, and several large shopping centres. Natural features include the Maribyrnong River.
