About Ann Barker
Ann was first elected as the State Member for Oakleigh in September 1999 and was re-elected in 2002 and 2006.
Ann is married with two adult children and lives in Oakleigh. She is a well known advocate for the local community. Strongly representing local residents and community organisations to ensure they get a fair go. Her particular policy interests are health, education and youth issues.

- Office Manager for Victorian Court Information and Welfare Network

Location: Oakleigh District is a metropolitan electorate approximately 12 kilometres south-east of Melbourne.
Area: 17 square kilometres.
Region: Southern Metropolitan Region
Suburbs: Carnegie, Murrumbeena, Oakleigh and Oakleigh East.Parts of the suburbs of Chadstone, Glenhuntly, Glen Waverley, Hughesdale, Mount Waverley and Ormond.
Features: Oakleigh District is a residential electorate which features a number of recreational reserves.
